Wyatt and his kitty

Wyatt has a fake kitty that he is in love with. He will hug it and carry it around the house. Sometimes you can even catch him on the floor with his arms around the cat's neck and he will be patting her on the back. He just is so cute with this cat. He loves animals and I am so glad because we are definately an animal family. Our dog recently died so we have had a time period without any pets (except the fake cat and Oscar the snake). We are really looking forward to getting a couple of dogs and possibly a cat in the near future. Oh and Wyatt has recently been touching the snake. He will walk over to the snake's cage and say in his Wyatt words "nake" as he wrinkles his nose, and Vincent will get Oscar out and let Wyatt touch him. He loves the snake so much that he will bring you his play-doh and say "nake" so you will make him a snake. Sooooo Cute!

Rainbow Falls

Vincent, Wyatt, and I went on a beautiful hike at Rainbow falls on Signal Mountain yesterday! Chattanooga has been getting so much rain that all of the falls and creeks are full of water. Wyatt loves his daddy's hat and took it off Vincent's head the entire hike and put it on his own. He was showing his Memphis roots by liking to wear his hats backwards. He really is just a brother from the hood! The 2nd picture Wyatt was just a bit sad about the picture taking so he was letting us know about his frustration. He is definately a red head:)

Cohutta Triathlon

I did my first triahlon a week ago Sunday. I loved every minute of it. I have done many running only races but this was way better in my opinion. My race was considered an international distance race which means it included 1/2 mile swim, 18 mile bike, 4 mile run. The pictures of the swim I am wearing a wetsuit because the water temp was extremely cold and boy was I glad I had that suit. The water was so cold people that chose to not wear one were being pulled out of the water by the safety people. I placed 2nd in my age group and 16th out of all the women, which was about 70. My goal is to get into the top 15 for the next race with a few minor adjustments including not having extremely long transistion times. Since this was my first face it took me longer than most to take my wetsuit off and get everything on for the bike and then also to get everything switched out for the run. I recieved a trophy for my 2nd place finish making me feel as if I was back in highschool:). I completed the race in 1:51.10 (the clock in the picture says 1:57, because we started our swim in waves and my age was the 3rd wave)I would recommend doing one of these races to everyone! Sorry the first picture is out of order.
