Hiking in Alabama

The other day Vincent, Wyatt, and I went on a hike in Alabama. We took our dinner and grilled out after the hike. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time. Wyatt is in love with tennis balls and golf balls and must have one everywhere he goes. We have told him that he is not allowed to throw the golf balls but to just hold them and so far he has obeyed. He is just so scared that he is going to loose his precious ball.

Date night

Vincent's parents watched Wyatt the other night for us to go on a date. We went on a hike to a waterfall in Cloudland Canyon and then we met a couple of great friends at the Canyon Grill for dinner. We had a great time and really appreciate Vincent's parents for watching Wyatt. Wyatt has finally come to the age where he loves seeing his grandparents. When he saw them through the window he said grandma and bobby and he even gave them one of his treasured balloons when they came in the door.

Girl's lunch

Last week Vincent watched Wyatt so that I could go eat with some girlfriends. We had a great time as we always do. You don't realize how much you look forward to talking with other girls (especially grown up girls) until you talk to a 2 year old all day.

Vincent and Wyatt

At the park. Wyatt loves to swing!!

Vincent has starting rocking Wyatt for a few minutes before he puts him to bed each night. The entire time Wyatt wiggles around, fake coughs so that Vincent will cough back, pulls Vincent's eyelashes, and honks his nose. He has never been a child that has to be rocked before bed but recently he has enjoyed being held although this picture does not prove that. He has always been a baby that needs to play in bed a while before he goes to sleep.

We occasionally eat at Red Robin, mainly for Wyatt. He loves getting a balloon (bayoon-as Wyatt calls it)
I just wanted to post some cute pictures of Wyatt and Vincent. Wyatt and Vincent are similar in so many ways except, of course, looks. Wyatt does not look like either Vincent or me. He is definately our child but bares absolutely no resemblance. Oh well he is beautiful:)

Um by

Last week Wyatt and I met our friends Stephanie, Arie, Gavin and Keller at the Aquarium. Most of our time was spent in the butterfly exhibit. Wyatt calls butterflies um by. He had been calling them um -ba-gume-by but he has now shortened the word to um by. He is in love with bugs and butterflies. I think he is going to be like Vincent in that way. He already is fascinated with things that most people are not such as bugs, spiders, snakes, lizards, etc. I love that aspect about Wyatt and Vincent. I am just a regular lover all animals that are furry so sometimes I have a hard time when Vincent gets excited and brings me a snake or Wyatt picks up some bug and comes to show me, but I am very in love with both of these boys so I let it slide.

Aubree's Bday

If you look close Wyatt sucks his pacifier upside down and always has:) Crazy red head!!!
Wyatt's girlfriend turned 3 last weekend and celebrated her big day at the Spirit Barn. This place was amazing and a great place for a little one's bday party. We had to wake Wyatt up to go to the party (which was difficult because he was on Benedryl due to one of his many colds) but it was definately worth it. He had a blast!!! I did not let him get too close to any of the kids since he was a bit snotty so I did not get any pictures of him and other children. Oh well I am sure the other mother's were happy I kept him away.

Grandma Rice

Excitement!!!
Leaving Grandma's (Wyatt says Elmo for Grandma)
Vincent took Wyatt over to Grandma Rice's (Wyatt's great grandmother) house while we were in Memphis. This was Wyatt's 2nd time to see her and he obviously loved her!!!
