Thanksgiving in Memphis

For our family Thanksgiving Vincent, Wyatt and I headed to Memphis. I was so excited for many reasons but mainly because I got to see Elem and also meet my new sister in law. My brother got married a few months ago at a court house in Colorado so this was the first time any of the family had met his wife. His wife, Ximena, is from Argentina. She is just perfect in every way. She is beautiful, sweet, and smart therefore I definately had to give her a hard time about marrying my brother. Just kidding aboutall that Andy. You know I love you more than anything and think you are amazing-I just love actually getting to give you a hard time instead of me being on the recieving end. I could go on and on about Ximena because she is just wonderful. We had a great Thanksgiving dinner with mom, dad, Andy, Ximena, Mindy, Elem, Seth, and my cousins Amy, Amandy, and Jeff. On Sunday we all went to church and when we got home we had a little wedding shower for the newlyweds!! Everything was so great and so much fun. I really wish we all lived close together because we always have so much fun when we are together. Oh yes and thanks mom for watching the red head on Sat and Sun night so Vincent and I could spend time with Mindy, Andy, and Ximena. Also I must thank my mom for cooking the entire Thanksgiving dinner on her own. She is amazing and so was the food! I will tell just one sweet story about my super handsome nephew-Wyatt was crying for some reason and Elem said "He needs me mom" and went over to Wyatt and talked to him which made Wyatt stop crying and then Elem said "See he just needed me." So sweet!!! Elem is so great with Wyatt. The entire time he was sharing toys with Wyatt and talking to him so sweet. I could not have been any more impressed with how he was with Wyatt. Most kids these days Elem age are bullys but there are still a handful out there that are tender hearted and it is always great to see:) Thanks Elem!

It was just a wonderful time. We haven't been all together for so long. I have some sweet grandsons. For little guys, they behave so well. I am very proud of them both. Elem has such a deep, raspy, little voice....and what a vocabulary!! Wyatt was really well behaved too. By the way, that was Sprite in Elem's champagne glass. We didn't anesthetize the children.

Geez Becky! Way to bring out the teary side of me(Sniff sniff). That was really cute though, and he really did need my little man. So glad he was good for you and the rest of the fam! Makes me proud. But for the record, he did hit me this morning on the back of the leg. And told me he would put ME in time out if I didnt stop it. hahaha. So there you go!
