Small Group at our house

Brigg and his beautiful son Tucker.
Vincent and Nick.

Leslie, Leah, Kelly, Laura, and baby Eliza.

I love this picture because Eliza is not even Leslie's baby but Leslie is just a natural with kids. She and her husband Nick do not have children but have always been so welcoming to all of us that do. They are just a wonderful couple and I can't wait until they have kids.
We had small group the other night at our house. Now that we 7 kids in our group things can be very exciting and loud but we love it.

Mini Vacation to North Carolina

Wyatt playing peek a boo.
Mr Bobby taught Wyatt how to hit the tennis ball with the tennis racket!!!

The beautiful North Carolina Mountains and the super clear Hiwasee Lake.

Me and my smiley husband.
Viincent and I got to take a wonderful vacation to North Carolina about a week ago. We pulled our boat and spent most of our 2 days on the lake. We also took our bikes ( we are both training for the Waterfront Triathlon) so we biked and ran on morning. We had a wonderful relaxing time. Thanks to Vincents parents for watching Wyatt, especially Mr Bobby. Mrs Lynette came down with an illness so Mr Bobby took Wyatt. He even took him to his work for a meeting! Oh and thanks to the girls in his office for watching Wyatt during the meeting:)

Lookout Valley playground

The boys checking out the train. Arie, Stephanie, and I always talk about how cute it is that out boys all have a different color hair.
Arie, Keller, and Wyatt.

Wyatt swinging, and if you look close his hands are over his eyes and he is saying "no" because he hates having his picture taken. When will this phase end. I am thinking never because Vincent still hates having his picture taken.

Family

My sweet cousin Jeff. I love when Jeff comes to town. He always stops by to hang out for a bit. His job requires him to travel and fortunately he has to travel around East Tennessee. I love you Jeff and thanks for everything you do to help me and my family. We appreciate it more than you will ever know.
Vincent, Grandma Beasley, and Wyatt. Grandma Beasley is 91 and she is definately one of the greatest women I know. Although she is of the female gender, she never complains about anything (which I know is in my nature and I also know it is in most women's nature) :). She is always happy and upbeat in every situation. I love being around her and I am truly trying to adopt some of her characteristics. Such an amazing woman.

Wyatt playing Grandma Beasley's piano. He loves music.

Oh and I added in the train at the mall. The blue car is holding Wyatt and Vincent. I love this train!!!! Such a cute idea to have at the mall.

Wyatt's first fair

Vincent and I took Wyatt to his first fair a couple of weekends ago. He loves riding rides so we spent the majority of the time waiting in line and riding the rides. He even rode the ferris wheel!!! I guess that is exciting to me because I hate the ferris wheel because of how high it goes. I have never enjoyed rides so I was glad that Vincent was there to take Wyatt on the rides. I love experiencing every new thing with Wyatt!!!

Wyatt's monthly haircut

Can you tell how much Wyatt loves having his hair cut????

Memphis visit and Elem's 3rd birthday

Last Thursday Vincent, Wyatt, and I drove to Memphis to visit my parents. We got to Memphis about 530 and went to dinner. The next morning Vincent left to go fishing in Arkansas so my mom, me and Wyatt spent the day together. On Saturday my mom, dad, Wyatt and I drove to Arkansas for Elem's bday party. Vincent had spent the night in Arkansas so we met him at the party. My sister is such a great planner, so of course the party was great!!!!! She rented a big bouncy toy, had a dirt pile with worms, etc!!!! Wyatt had such a great time. After the party Vincent, my dad and Wyatt drove back to Memphis so that Mindy, my mom, and I could go out to lunch for an early mother's day. We are rarely all 3 together so it was wonderful to be able to spend mother's day with 2 people that I love so much. Thanks Seth for watching Elem!!!! We had a great lunch (KIDS FREE). That night mom and I drove back to Memphis. When we got there mom watched Wyatt for Vincent and I to go out. The next day we went to church and lunch for mother's day and then headed back to Chattanooga. We had a wonderful time!!!

playdate-Gavin's bday

Our newest addition to the playgroup and youngest, Luke. He is the cutest!!!! Although he is the youngest he is bigger than all the other boys, which is crazy because his mom and dad are so small.
Keller and Gavin mowing the lawn

Gavin loving his cupcake!!!
Last Wednesday I had Wyatt's friends (really my mommy friends) over. I made cupcakes and got balloons to celebrate Gavin's 2nd birthday. Wyatt and i were so sad that we were going to have to miss Gavin's party to go to my nephew Elem's birthday party so we decided to throw him an early bday!!!!

1st Wyatt boat trip of the summer

Last week Vincent and I took Wyatt out on the boat for the first time of the season. He did way better than last year. Last year he had to wear an infant life jacket that he hated so this year he has upgraded to a toddler life jacket. He seemed to have a great time on the boat. We stayed out about 3 hours!!! The water was way too cold to get in so we ate lunch and played on a beach. He loved throwing rocks into the water. He will really enjoy being on the lake when he can get in water.

Wyatt's first movie and much more!!!

Wyatt enjoying his first movie-How to tame a dragon.

My in laws watched Wyatt the other night and Vincent and I took the boat out and met our great friends Nick and Leslie. It was too cold to get in the water but the temperature outside was perfect, so we just rode around the lake and went to eat at a restaurant on the water. We had a blast!!! Thanks Granette and Bobby.

The other night Vincent and I hired a babysitter and went out to eat and then to a bluegrass festival. Such a great night!!!! I still love going on dates with my boyfriend of 6 years.

Wyatt rarely ever falls asleep in the car but in the last few months he is very off and on with his naps so he is extremely tired-as you can tell. I love watching him sleep!! He is just a gorgeous baby!!!!

A picture of my handsome husband and I at the festival!!!

Wyatt at his first movie. The movie lasted 1hr and 36 minutes. Wyatt did not complain one bit. He loved every minute. He definately takes after his daddy. Vincent has always been a huge movie fan. I have never really liked going to movies or even renting movies. Vincent had a smile pasted on his face the entire movie because of how much Wyatt enjoyed watching the movie. So cute!!!

Every Wednesday about 5 moms and there boys come over for a playdate. This picture is of Wyatt, Keller (Arie's boy), and Sydney(Arie's dog) playing with the pots and pans. What could be any more fun????

We spend most of our time in the backyard. This picture is of Arie, Stephanie, Lacey, Keller, Wyatt, Maddox, and Sydney. I love having Sydney. I am such an animal lover. I soooo miss our dog so any excuse to have any dog over is great!!! Sydney loves the boys and especially loves to play fetch.

Vincent has never seen the butterfly exhibit at the Aquarium so he got to see them with bubby on one of his weeks off.

Another girls night at the melting pot!!! Love these nights!!!

Wyatt's friend Blayne celebrated his first b-day last Saturday. I had decided to not give Wyatt a nap b/c Blayne's b-day was at 3 and Wyatt goes down about 230. Oh did I pay for that!!!! I thought he would be fine since he was so off and on with his naps but obviously I need to offer him a nap every day whether he takes it or not. He just kept laying on the floor and out of no where crying during the party. He then fell asleep on the car ride home (so unlike himself). Stupid mommy!!! vincent had told me to lay him down even if he did not fall asleep but I thought that it wouldn't be a big deal:)

Right before Blayne's party one of my sweetest friends, Amanda, had a surprise baby shower. She will having a baby boy on July 27. This is a picture of her beautiful family!!

The other night we took a walk on the walking bridge. The bridge has been closed since Dec and has just now parially reopened. I love this bridge and am so glad it is open again!!!

Wyatt did not want his picture taken so this is him saying "No"

This is one of my favorite pictures of Wyatt. Vincent got this picture of him. He is such a happy child but we can never capture his smiles in pictures because he is a bit shy.
