Hiking
Wyatt,Vincent, Thorn and I went hiking the other day. We have started taking Wyatt out in the evenings because he gets so fussy from about 530 until bedtime and he is much worse if he is at home. We went on a short hike with Wyatt in the carrier. Thorn had so much fun because she got to get in the creek water which she loves to do. She always acts like a puppy whenever she is around water. She jumps around and slides all over the rocks and the next day she pays for it when she is limping around like an old person and we have to give her an anti inflammatory drug to calm her arthritis. oh well she loves it so we always let her do whatever because she is such a great dog. Since we have had her we are most likely always going to have doberman's. I would recommend this breed of dog to everyone. They are protective and so loyal and also extremely beautiful, sweet, and funny.
Radnor's Birthday
My nephew Radnor turned 2 years old a few weeks ago and we went to Nashville to celebrate his birthday. Wyatt did OK on the trip but with each trip we take it makes me realize how difficult it is to travel with a baby. You just have to bring so much stuff and you just can never relax but I am glad that we went and I am glad that I have an extremely helpful husband which makes everything 10 times easier.
Rice cereal and squash
For the past couple of weeks I have been introducing Wyatt to rice cereal and just last week I introduced him to squash. He is not the biggest fan of the cereal but he is doing pretty good with the squash. I have started mixing his cereal with the sqaush but I think he will catch on soon. He has really started to notice everything that we put in our mouths and acts extremely interested in eating but when he takes a few bites he makes that hilarious face and by about the 7th or 8th bite he starts grunting and pursing his lips like i better not put anymore food in his mouth. He has gotten some better since he is getting the squash but he does get a bit of a stubborn attitude and tries to refuse things already (and he is only 5 months) but I just think it is because he is part Beasley and takes after that side of the family-hehe.
Stroller ride
I got Wyatt an umbrella stroller because I am sick of trying to get the huge stroller that goes with the carseat out of the back of my car. He hates riding in the carseat and he also really hates riding in the carseat in the stroller so I decided to try an umbrella stroller. I usually carry him places in a carrier on my chest and he loves that but he is just getting too heavy and my back and neck are hurting so I am trying to get him to like the stroller. I did get lucky with the umbrella stroller. He loves it and he actually will fall asleep occasionally in it. I think that he likes it because he does not have anything in front of his legs so if he wants he can kick his legs (which he loves to do). He does not like to feel restrained at all so having a cup holder (such as on the other stroller) makes him feel strapped in. He just loves his freedom with the umbrella stroller. He is a bit too small in my opinion but oh well whatever Wyatt likes he gets (only child).
Wyatt Einstein
I am sorry that I have not posted in soooo long. I have a few posts that I will do over the next few days to catch up. The first post will go back to when Wyatt was watching Baby Einstein. He love TV so much that we have to sometimes turn off the TV or mute it to get him to eat or do anything but pay attention it. I got him a couple of Baby Einstein dvd's to of course make him smarter because after all they are called Baby Einstein so my little Wyatt will be the next Einstein. Here are a couple of pictures of him watching the dvd. There is one part where a little girl is telling jokes and the crowd laughs and everytime at this point in the video Wyatt always starts smiling really big as if he understands what she is saying. It is so funny. He also likes to hold toys and when he gets super excited he shakes them extremely hard and squeals like a little piggy.

Sunday before church
Before church on Sunday Vincent took some really cute pictures of Wyatt. I was really wanting Vincent to be trying to get the baby to take a nap before church but instead he was taking pictures which now I am happy about but yesterday I was not so happy about it. The wierd looking objects holding Wyatt up are Vincent's feet. They look so odd in these pictures.
Wyatt's first lake experience
On Sunday evening about 600 Vincent and I took Wyatt to the lake at Booker T Washington park. We did not put him on a boat just in case you were wondering mom we just carried him around in the jeep on my chest and he loved it. He liked looking at the boats and the water and he loved watching sister Thorn go after the stick in the water. His worst time of the day is from 500 until bedtime but we really do not like for him to take a nap then because we want him to go to bed so we keep him up from 500 untill about 745ish. He is great if you take him out in the front pack and walk-he loves being outside just like his daddy. If he is at home he is extremely fussy at that time so we decided the best thing to do would be to go on and go to the lake and we are glad that we did. The pictures of Wyatt with his hat are so cute except that his hat his too small for his big head. It fit him perfectly until I washed it so forgive me for putting a small hat on my child.

Time away from Wyatt
Yesterday Vincent's parents kept Wyatt so that we could go out on the boat. We went out on the Parksville lake which is to me known as the Ocoee Lake. It is so beautiful. The water is so clear because some group owns all the land around the lake so there are no houses backing up to the water. The lake is also surrounded by mountains which makes it even more beautiful. We were going to go just the two of us and our princess Thorn but on the way a couple of people called so it ended up being 6 of us-which was very fun. As a new mom when I leave Wyatt I am always nervous because I feel he will not get his naps and he will be in a bad mood for the in laws so it is always hard for me to leave him. It ended up that he was not in a terrible mood but he only took one 40 minute nap (which is terrible because they kept him for 5 hours) but I had to brush it off my shoulders and appreciate the time I had away with grown ups. The time was not good for Thorn either because she ended up having to stay in Granette and Bobby's garage which she absolutley hates but Mr Bobby did take Wyatt and Thorn on a walk so that made up for us leaving her a little bit. Oh the picture of the guy climbing the tree like a freaking monkey is Vincent( he of course is just so cool).

Vincent's family
Some of Vincent's family was in Cleveland on Friday so the baby got to meet some family members that he had never seen. I realized that taking the baby out at night is a bad idea. We left about 515 from Chattanooga and got to Cleveland about 600. The baby fell asleep for the last 12 minutes of the car trip, which is a terrible thing because then he is in a terrible mood. He did Ok through dinner but then right after I rushed to get him home and we made it home about 830. Wyatt's bedtime is anywhere from 745 to 830.. This is the only time of day he actually sleeps decently so I am extremely protective of this time for him. I got him home and did not give him a bath (which was a huge mistake) b/c I figured it was already past bedtime. I put him in his pj's and sleep sac and gave him his bottle. He fell completely asleep as normal but when I laid him down he immediately started jerking around and woke himself up. He could just not relax and go to sleep which is definately my fault. I should not have taken him out and then expected him to fall asleep immediately when I got home. Anyhow he did not fall asleep until almost 1000 which is extremely late for him. Luckily both of us were here to deal with his crying and finally Vincent got him to bed. He is such a great dad:) and husband. I learned my lesson. Here are some family pictures. The men in the pictures are Vincents Uncle's. Also Wyatt has just noticed his feet and he is now constantly grabbing his toes. He is already so athletic.

Milestone
Bye Bye pumping
Over the last 4 1/2 months this machine has been glued to my breast. My last day of producing breast milk was Aug 1. My goal for breastfeeding was 5 months but during that time I had a few clogged duct and other problems with my breast so I decided to quit early. Little did I know that quitting would take a month and a half. I talked with many people and everyone had different opinions on how to quit but I finally decided on dropping one feeding every 4-5 days. This really worked best for me because I was having so many problems with clogged ducts. I really did enjoy giving Wyatt breast milk. When I first thought of quitting I was extremely sad. Unless you have had the gift of giving your child all the food they need you will not know what I am talking about. Anyhow I am so glad that I did get the chance to do this and I would definately reommend it to everyone but for now I am saying good bye to the pump that has been my best friend for almost 5 months. These pictures are a tribute to Medela( I can call it by that name since I paid a lot of money for it). Also good bye to lansinoh nipple cream which is great.
I do not have a good header for this post
This post will be back tracking a couple of weeks. Some of the pictures are when my mom and dad came to visit. They stayed for a couple of days and we of course had a great time. There is also a pictures of Wyatt being held by 2 girls. This was Wyatt's first and most likely last lingeria (dont know how to spell and cant find a dictionary or spell check) shower. I had to take him because Vincent was working until 1000. He did well and he was the only man there. Also there is a picture of Wyatt and Thorn in the bathroom when I was getting ready to go to the shower. Thorn (our protective doberman) is extremely scared of storms. She will follow us around the house until the storm is over. I had to take a shower so she stayed with Wyatt and I in the bathroom and at one point I looked over when I was shaving my legs and she had her head poked through the shower curtain getting ready to get into the shower with me because she was so scared. For those of you who know Thorn this should be funny because she is so intimidating to most people but they have never seen this side of her.
